Atheist, and the list is long.....are all just beliefs and concepts fabricated by mind.
There have been countless thousands of religions, all created by mind, all proclaiming the truth. All illusion, it becomes projection, ultimately separating into, "us" and "them", me and God.
The Self is prior to consciousness, everything else is a creation of mind.
Religion, methods, Gurus are all just concepts, given birth by mind, to form a "spiritual" identity.
All false identities struggling with ambiguity and springing from a need to explain it's existence can never fully succeed.
The true guru is formless essence ...the Self.
The teaching is from within.
There is nothing out there.
We have created religions to give us comfort, an identity. These identities are time bound, rule bound and merely fabrications of the imagination.
Stop seeking!
Be still, listen to the Self.
It will tell you the truth.
You are no body and you are not your mind.
The truth of the realized Self is...
"I AM".
